Mysteries of the Romanovs: A Forensic Story

THIS EVENT TOOK PLACE on
Tuesday, February 6, 2018
(Please note the date change from February 8th)
The mystery surrounding the life, and especially the death, of the last direct members of the Russian Imperial Romanov family has been capturing imaginations for generations. The destiny of the Romanov Family – mother, father, four beautiful daughters and son – was not explained until decades after their tragic end. What happened to the Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaievna Romanova? Who was Anna Anderson Manahan? How did one of the most powerful empires in history end?
Dr. Zoran M. Budimlija, forensic pathologist and DNA specialist, veteran of the 9/11 Human identification project at the NYC Office of Chief Medical Examiner, and an international expert on missing persons will explain one of the most interesting forensic stories of the century.
