Mysteries of the Romanovs: A Forensic Story

February 6, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 7:30 pm

$40 – $60

The mystery surrounding the life, and especially the death, of the last direct members of the Russian Imperial Romanov family has been capturing imaginations for generations. The destiny of the Romanov Family – mother, father, four beautiful daughters and son – was not explained until decades after their tragic end. What happened to the Grand Duchess Anastasia Nikolaievna Romanova? Who was Anna Anderson Manahan? How did one of the most powerful empires in history end?

Dr. Zoran M. Budimlija is a forensic pathologist and DNA specialist, a veteran of the 9/11 Human identification project at the NYC Office of Chief Medical Examiner, and an international expert on missing persons; hear his insights into one of the history’s most interesting forensic stories.

$40 for GEO members/$60 for non-members

6:00 PM cocktail reception (cash bar)
6:30 PM presentation and conversation with Zoran

Please note: The Union League has a strict dress code. For men: Jacket and tie. For women: Business suits, tailored pant or skirt ensembles and dresses.
