$30 – $40
Join fellow explorers for an evening of spectacular travel-photos and networking at this “special edition” Marco Polo!
Please note the date and location change. This special Marco Polo will take place February 15th at Ristorante La Buca! There, enjoy a 3-course meal, and cash bar.
We’ll announce the winners of our Travel-Photo contest, and present their photos.
The evening will be hosted by Tom Tauber, internationally-renowned photographer and one of the contest’s judges.
Also, enter our raffle to win a prize from our sponsor, the Bryn Mawr Camera Shop!
We will also feature two presentations:
UNDISCOVERED FRANCE
Francophile Jeff Heller explores areas outside Paris and Provence, which are filled with chateaus, caves, river gorges, picture-postcard villages and fine restaurants. Many regions in central and southern France are quiet and colorful, especially off-season, and surprisingly reasonable in price. “Undiscovered” France can be France at its best.
THE GOLDEN TEMPLE OF THE SIKHS
Tom Tauber and Grace Schuler started their latest trip to India in Amritsar. This is the holy city of Sikhism, one of the major religions of India and the home of the Golden Temple, where the Sacred Book of the Sikhs is displayed and revered. Tom and Grace arrived for Divali, the “Festival of Lights”, a magical evening in which thousands of pilgrims lit candles around the basin in which the temple sits.
