From a hot air balloon ride across the Serengeti, Heidi will show us her pictures of zebras, lions and the other big fives. She finishes her adventure on the serene island of Zanzibar, enjoying its blue waters and stunning sunsets.

Serbia and Montenegro
 with Predrag Filipovic
Predrag, member of the Pyramid Club will show us photographs of Serbia’s countryside, wineries, monasteries and frescos of Sveti Stefan, Old Town Budva and the beautiful beaches of Montenegro.

Varanasi, Holy City on the Ganges with Tom Tauber
Named Benares under British colonial rule, it is said to be one of the oldest continually inhabited cities on Earth. Hindus consider it their holy city, located on the banks of “Mother Ganga” that gives life to most of the Indian subcontinent. Tom will show us the praying, ceremonies, cremation and the daily life that goes on in this incredible city.

We are a networking group of active travelers who meet approximately four times a year in the Philadelphia area to share information and photographs about our trips. Our purpose is to help each other find new places to travel to, and to pass on our experiences so our fellow travelers can benefit from them.

This special edition of Marco Polo will be held at the Pyramid Club, 1735 Market Street, Philadelphia
