Geographical Society of Philadelphia

Legacy Dinner

Come meet explorer extraordinaire, Erik Weihenmayer. Erik, who has been blind since his teenage years, has conquered mountains (including all of the Seven Summits!), and so much more.  This accomplished climber, paraglider, skier, and kayaker will share his unique “vision” of the world and his amazing stories of adventure.

Join us for the historic dinner, a glass of wine, and a personal chat with Erik Weihenmayer. Then, cross the street to the Free Library for a presentation of his travels and his new book, No Barriers. We will also award Erik with the Cecilia Beaux pin, continuing GEO’s legacy of honoring the greatest of world explorers.

Make your reservation below by purchasing a ticket, which includes a signed copy of the No Barriers.
